Hi everyone,
well I’ve been back from my summer travels for about a week and a half now and I’ve finally managed to get my house and garden back under control. I’ve also gotten back to my quilting, which is a huge relief and hopefully I will be able to post about that soon.
With all those major chores over, I thought it was time to finally start sharing some of my pictures with you, starting with my trip home to Bermuda.
This year I was lucky to be on the Island, for the homes and garden tours, which were held on May 10th. The Garden Club of Bermuda, decorated Christ Church in Warwick for a traditional Bermuda wedding, including the horse and carriage, and opened two private homes for viewing: Kirkdale Farm and The Cocoon, both a short walk from the church. Together with a plant and bake sale it was a lovely girls day out. Unfortunately, I didn’t get any pictures of the beautifully decorated homes inside but still enjoyed stepping into the world of the wealthy Bermudian owners.
I hope you have a great week!
