Last weekend we enjoyed a toddler free weekend. With 'so much' time to ourselves, and so many options, we almost didn't know what to do with ourselves. But we opted for a sunset hike up to Hoher Hirschberg.
We 'd just been there the week before, but the meal : Zürichergeschnezeltes and Spätzli was so delicious I decided that it was worth a 2hr 15min. hike up there ( round trip) for the views, snow, sunset atmosphere and soul satisfying meal.
The hike down was also breathtaking, as the darkness gave way to star studded skies and a snow covered Alpstein mountain range. We ended up only uskng our headlamps for the wooded area at the top.
So I guess you could say we're making up for the lack of winter adventures... #hoherhirschberg
